John Daniel, the nephew of Gustav Niebam, the founder and legendary brewer, has created some of the most acclaimed wines in the world.
However, after that, the name of Inglenook was sold, and “Inglenook Cask Cabernet Sauvignon”, which was known as an excellent wine, also lost its brilliance at that time.
Later, Francis Ford Coppola and Eleanor purchased part of the winery’s grounds. He bought back the sold vineyards, invested in equipment, and worked hard to rebuild the legend of the winery.
In order to reproduce the wine made by Mr. John Daniel, the Coppola family stuck to the traditional manufacturing method and created the taste of that time.
Although the name “cask” has disappeared, the taste of Cabernet reminiscent of Bordeaux is still alive as the second wine of Inglenook’s flagship “Rubicon”.
Dried dark cherries and plums with cassis, vanilla and cocoa aromas.
A traditional Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon with a solid skeleton and fine tannins that gives it a profound finish and can be aged for years.
