Zinfandel in Calistoga, the warmest of the five own vineyards owned by Gargitch Hills, is used. Gravel loam soil maximizes the individuality of Zinfandel varieties.
All vineyards owned by Gargitch Hills are certified organic. This is proof that we are growing a well-balanced and healthy tree using organic preparations and no artificial fertilizers, pesticides or antifungal agents.
Rich aromas of blackberries, ripe cherries and wet roses, with a hint of roasted coffee and freshly toasted almonds.
The palate is fruity and fruity. As with the aroma, the taste is rich and not sweet, which is the appeal of this wine. The tannins have a fine and moist texture. Spicy appears in the finish, mixes well with tannins and remains strong on the tongue.
