Gre by Kos Desturnel is A.O.C.Medoc Wine, which is produced by the same team as Château Kos Desturnel with a Medoc rating of 2.
Although the first label has a rating of 2nd grade, its dramatic improvement every year threatens the 1st grade chateau.
The second label, led by Robert Parker, was praised by prominent critics as a super second as close to the first as possible. Here too, the brewing is done in the same way, only the age of the tree is said to be different.
Its history begins with the purchase of a vineyard called “Kos”, which means gravel hills, by businessman Louis Gaspar Desturnel.
At that time, many people had doubts about his business ability and innovative way of thinking, but his passion for the chateau and the quality of the aged wine he worked on were recognized, and his reputation grew with Gungun.
The brewery has an oriental temple-like architectural style. It stands out most in the Medoc.

Vintage 2017
It’s like a warm hug from an old friend. Smooth, comforting, and oh-so-familiar. You’ll taste dark berries, a hint of vanilla, and just a touch of spice. It’s the kind of wine that pairs perfectly with good food, good company, and good conversation. Honestly, what more could you ask for?

Vintage 2012
A beautifully balanced red wine with notes of ripe red berries and a hint of vanilla. The velvety texture and long finish make it an excellent choice for special occasions.
