Folium Pinot Noir is a full-bodied red wine produced by Forium Vineyard in Marlborough, New Zealand.
Pinot Noir is fermented in a stainless steel tank for 4-5 days at low temperature after harvesting. Pinot Noir uses Dijon clones and the yeast is wild yeast. After fermentation, it is aged in 100% French oak barrels and the rate of new barrels is about 25%. After fermentation, it is released in a French oak barrel after 11 months of aging.
In addition, the wine of Folium Vineyard is a BIO-GRO standard wine, and BIO-GRO is the only product that has been evaluated by the “New Zealand Biological Producer Consumer Council” and cleared the strict examination criteria. An organic certification body that is allowed to display the mark on.
It is a strict standard that requires world-class quality and safety, and is finally officially certified after passing the examination for three consecutive years, and is required to undergo a strict inspection once a year after that.
