D’Oliveiras Boal Vintage Madeira is a sweet Madeira wine made exclusively from the Boal variety of Madeira Pereira Driveira.
The white grape “Bual”, which is native to Portugal, has a rich, well-balanced sourness and sweetness and produces a slightly sweet wine. Due to the low production of Buar itself, it is often handled at high prices, especially if the vintage is old.
As a characteristic of the brewing of Madeira wine, the flavor can be maintained for a long period of time by applying a natural heat aging method using solar heat called “Canteiro” for aging.
Since alcohol and acid are high, it is recommended to store the bottle upright to protect the cork.
