Château Gruaud Larose with a second-class Medoc rating.
It is also famous for the fact that the wine label says “King’s wine, King of wine”. Its history goes back to the middle of the 17th century, when Father Gruau worked on winemaking.
The literature at the time already mentions the splendor of this chateau’s aged wine. It wasn’t until 1781 that he officially called himself Gruau Larose.
Now under the direction of the Merlot clan Jean Merlot (Tian Group), the elegant and sophisticated taste has a stable reputation every year.
