Château Dalmayak with a Medoc rating of 5th grade.
The history of the chateau dates back to the 18th century and was owned by the Dalmayak family at that time.
In 1933, the vineyard was owned by Philippe Rothschild of Chateau Mouton Rothschild, so it was called Chateau Mouton Dalmayak until 1955, when the rating was established.
After that, it was renamed to Mouton Baron Philip from 1956. From the 1989 vintage, it has been renamed to the current name of the chateau, Dalmayak.
The owner is still the first-class Médoc-rated Chateau Mouton Rothschild (Rothschilds).
The impact of many changes in the name of the chateau in the past has been so great that it has been strongly impressed by consumers for many years.
However, due to the remarkable improvement in quality over the last few years, it has grown into a stable and popular chateau.
