The second wine of the Château Leoville Las Cars, the second grade of the Medoc rating, is “Le Petit Lion du Marchi de Las Cars”.
Previously, Clos du Marchi was the second wine of this chateau, but since 2007 it has become a completely independent brand wine and now “Petit Lion” is the official second.
The chateau is located in Saint Julian, adjacent to Pauillac. The neighboring Leoville Poiffere and Leoville Barton are both second-class chateaus run by their brothers.
