Geyserpeak Merlot California is one of the high quality wines produced by Geiser Peak.
A perfect wine to drink slowly, it features a rich fruity, supple structure and tannins. Its supple character is balanced by a cheerful acid that keeps the wine fresh and lively in your mouth.
The main grape variety is Merlot, mainly harvested inland in northern California, and the effects of warm days and cool nights produce excellent acids in the ripe fruit. From Mendocino to Sonoma County, more limited yields and distinctive grapes give a unique blending element.
Geiser Peak is one of California’s most traditional wineries and has a history of over 130 years.
Today, Ondine Chatan, a female brewer who has been with the Geyser Peak Winery for over 14 years, is responsible for brewing.
Since its founding in 1880, Geiser Peak is also the most award-winning builder in local Sonoma. There have been twists and turns in its long history, and during this time, it played the leading role in acquisition plays many times, but it also provided the heritage that led to today’s success.
The symbol is one case in which Penfolds dispatched a grunge brewer. Although it is Geiser Peak, which has been well-established for its “conservative price and high quality”, the skills adopted for the Southern Hemisphere’s highest-priced wine (grange) with a market price of 50,000 yen to over 100,000 yen are injected. By doing so, we are achieving further quality improvements.
Deep garnet color with a slight blue tinge.
Aroma of plum leaves, raspberries and tea leaves.
Fruitiness of black fruits and red fruits such as American cherry
